Bournemouth and District Driving Instructors Association

BDDIA

Bournemouth and District Driving Instructors Association has served the driver training industry since 1984, and we're still growing. As more people join the community of local driver trainers, we are called upon to provide guidance, training, advice and assistance to more people every year.

Membership of BDDIA provides access to a range of resources for trainers including up-to-date local and national industry news, training aids and an active discussion Facebook group.

If you are a local ADI who works in east Dorset or west Hampshire, and mainly use Poole, Dorchester, Salisbury or the Southampton Driving Test Centres, you are eligible to join us. BDDIA also welcomes driver trainers specialising in training for larger vehicles, trailers, motorcycles and other such specialisms.

BDDIA is a friendly association, seeking to provide an informal and effective environment for members to discuss industry matters.

Our meetings take place every quarter, although we schedule extra meetings when required. Our speakers often include Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) representatives, Police and professionals from a variety of road safety organisations.

A close working relationship, built up over the last three decades with the local test centres allows us as a group to have a collective voice to raise member concerns, or to seek answers to members' questions.
